YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - The Yuma Police Department (YPD) said a man has been arrested in connection to burglaries at multiple businesses.

YPD said the burglaries happened in between Monday, July 6 and Friday, July 10, in the area of S. Avenue 3E, with the total estimated loss being around $353,000.

After conducting an "extensive investigation," YPD said they served a search warrant at home, where they found stolen property, approximately 20 grams of cocaine and approximately 31 grams of methamphetamine.

As a result, YPD said a 32-year-old Yuma man was arrested and booked Sunday on 12 felony charges, including burglary, trafficking in stolen property, theft, criminal damage and possession of dangerous drugs. He is being held on a bond of $235,000.

The investigation is ongoing.
