CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Florida man arrested for shooting fireworks from vehicle

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. (NBC, KYMA) - Earlier this month, the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office in Florida pulled a vehicle over, after a helicopter unit spotted fireworks being shot from the passenger window while traveling on I-95.

The driver of the vehicle initially denied have any part in the dangerous stunt.

But after some questioning, and the fact that it was all caught on video, that story didn't stand up. The passenger in the vehicle was taken into custody.

The suspect was charged with shooting a deadly missile from a moving vehicle.

Officials released the video hoping to show how handling fireworks in such a dangerous manner can have serious, and long-last consequences.
