Person struck by vehicle outside ICE facility in New Jersey

NEWARK, N.J. (CBS, KYMA) - A person was thrown to the ground after being hit by a vehicle exiting an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility in New Jersey Friday.

Patrick Nealis filmed the footage from across the road from the Delaney Hall facility.

"After an extended standoff between officials and protestors; vehicles exiting Delaney Hall forced their way out," he wrote on X.

"At least one member in the crowd appears to have been hit by an exiting vehicle," he said.

In the footage, protesters can be seen striking several exiting vehicles before and following the incident.

The crowd surrounded the struck person on the ground before helping them to their feet and across the road.
