WM Phoenix Open raises record $20.1 million for local charities in 2026

PHOENIX, Ariz. (KYMA) - The Waste Management Phoenix Open continues to make a major impact beyond the golf course, raising a record amount for local charities for the fourth consecutive year.

Tournament officials announced the 2026 WM Phoenix Open generated more than $20.1 million for charitable organizations across Arizona. Marking the first time the event has surpassed the $20 million mark in a single year.

With this year's total, the tournament has now raised $134 million over the past decade alone. Organizers say the continued growth reflects the community support surrounding one of the PGA Tour's most recognizable events.

The announcement was made at the Ability360 Sports and Fitness Center in Phoenix. The nonprofit organization provides sports, fitness and recreational opportunities for individuals with disabilities and was highlighted as one of the many community partners benefiting from the tournament's fundraising efforts.

The WM Phoenix Open has become known not only for its large crowds and energetic atmosphere, but also for its charitable contributions throughout Arizona. Tournament officials say the annual event continues to support a wide range of nonprofits and community programs year after year.
