Spotify to start reserving concert tickets for fans

(CNN, KYMA) - Spotify is making it easier for people to see their favorite bands and singers in person.

The streaming service is setting aside tickets for those who are determined to be the biggest fans of these artists.

Spotify will use streams and shares to pick the people who will be eligible for this offer.

The arrangement, which starts this summer, comes due to a multi-year partnership between Spotify and Live Nation.

The fans who get selected will have a set amount of time to buy the tickets if they choose to do so.

As of right now, there's no word on which artists will be involved with this feature.

Spotify officials say the offer is to help music fans who are frustrated with the overall ticket-buying process.
