Preliminary hearing delayed for murder case against D4vd

LOS ANGELES COUNTY, Calif. (CNN, KYMA) - A preliminary hearing has been pushed back in the murder case against singer D4vd.

The singer, whose legal name is David Anthony Burke, is accused of killing 14-year-old Celeste Hernandez after she threatened to expose their relationship.

Her body was found dismembered in the suspect's Tesla several months ago.

The hearing, originally set for late May, is now scheduled for the end of June at the request of the defense.

D4vd faces several charges, including murder, sexual abuse of a child, and mutilating human remains.

He has pleaded not guilty and remains in custody in a Los Angeles jail without bail.
