Six Flags Magic Mountain reopens after bomb threat

VALENCIA, Calif. (CNN, KYMA) - Authorities in California responded to an early morning bomb threat at a theme park Monday.

The threat came to Valencia's Six Flags Magic Mountain nearly three hours before the park was scheduled to open.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and California Highway Patrol responded, with deputies and armored vehicles sweeping the park.

Six Flags Magic Mountain opened an hour late after nothing suspicious was found.
