Ronald McDonald sings national anthem at Minor League Baseball game

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (CBS, KYMA) - Ronald McDonald belted out the national anthem of the United States ahead of a Minor League Baseball game in Charlotte, North Carolina, recently shared footage shows.

Footage recorded by the Charlotte Knights shows the clown character, who is the mascot of fast food chain McDonald's, performing The Star-Spangled Banner at Truist Field.

"You never know what you'll see in the ballpark," the source wrote to Instagram.

The Knights, a Triple-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, defeated the Gwinnett Stripers, a Triple-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves, 21-1.
