WNBA star Caitlin Clark to publish children’s book

(CNN, KYMA) - WNBA superstar Caitlin Clark is adding "author" to her resume as a new children's book based on her life is set to be released in November.

The rhyming story, titled "Extraordinary! A Little Extra to Reach Big Dreams," focused on the importance of going the extra mile and the power of support.

Clark says the message comes from a phrase she grew up with, "The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is the little extra."

The Indiana Fever star hopes the book inspires kids to chase their dreams and remember they're not alone.
