Multiple people injured in shooting near restaurant in Texas

AUSTIN, Texas (CBS, KYMA) - Several police cars were seen parked in Austin, Texas, as authorities responded to a shooting Sunday evening.

Footage posted to X by Austin Videos shows flashing red and blue LED strobe lights of the responding police vehicles and tape blocking E 12th St.

According to news reports, citing Austin Police Department, multiple people were injured in the shooting. Authorities were alerted to the incident at about 8:26 p.m. Central.

Officers were still searching for the suspect as of 11 p.m. Central, reports said, but the shooting was being treated as an isolated incident.
