One dead, three injured in shooting outside store in Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH (NBC, KYMA) - A shooting outside of a business in Pittsburgh early Sunday morning left one person dead and three others injured.

It happened outside of Niki's Quick Six just after 1 a.m.

The Pennsylvania State Police says troopers responding to the scene found a woman, identified as 34-year-old Jessica Lynn Hillard of Apollo, dead from a gunshot wound at the scene.

Another woman, 24, was also found wounded and was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Troopers say two men, 34 and 25, were also injured in the shooting, but took themselves to the hospital where they are in stable condition.

The suspected shooter, a 36-year-old David Dunmire of Vandergrift, remained at the scene and was taken into custody without incident.

Investigators believe he began firing after an altercation broke out.

Murder charges have been filed against Dunmire and the investigation into the shooting continues.
