Warm days, breezy nights ahead

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - A stretch of spring weather is settling into Yuma, bringing a mix of warm afternoons, cooler nights, and periods of breezy conditions through the weekend and into early next week.

Wednesday night stays mostly clear with a low around 58 degrees, though winds could still gust up to 25 miles per hour at times.

By Thursday, clouds begin to increase slightly, but temperatures remain comfortable with a high near 87.

Clear skies return Thursday night before a warm-up heading into Friday. Expect sunny conditions with highs climbing back into the low 90s, making it one of the warmer days in the extended forecast.

Heading into the weekend, temperatures begin to ease back a bit. Saturday will be mostly sunny with a high near 86, but winds will start to pick up again, especially into the evening. Saturday night looks breezy, with gusts potentially reaching up to 35 miles per hour.

That wind sticks around into Sunday, where highs dip into the low 80s under sunny skies, but breezy conditions continue throughout the day and into the night.

Looking ahead to early next week, calmer conditions return. Highs will settle in the mid-to-upper 80s with mostly sunny skies, offering a more typical late-April pattern for the region.

Overall, it's a classic Yuma forecast, warm days, cooler nights, and just enough wind at times to keep things interesting.
