Amazon launches GLP-1 weight loss program

(NBC, KYMA) - Amazon is expanding into weight loss care with a new approach through its primary care services.

According to CNBC, Amazon is launching a program that treats obesity as a long-term chronic condition through its One Medical Service.

The initiative will integrate weight management into routine care, allowing patients to access treatment as part of ongoing primary care.

Patients can also receive weight loss medications through Amazon Pharmacy, including newer oral GLP-1 options.

With insurance, pricing could start as low as $25 per month, and same-day delivery will be available.
