Yuma man linked to car and home burglaries sentenced

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - A Yuma man linked to multiple car and home burglaries was sentenced to six and a half years in prison.

In February 2026, 41-year-old Miguel Soqui pleaded guilty on one count of theft of means of transportation.

Soqui was arrested in April of last year after Yuma County deputies found stolen property and items linked to numerous burglaries in the Mesa Del Sol Neighborhood.

He was given credit for more than one year of time served.
