Clear skies continue with warm afternoons ahead

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - Clear and calm conditions are settling over the Yuma area as the region holds onto a dry and mild spring pattern heading into the weekend.

As of late conditions in Yuma show clear skies and a temperature of 78 degrees. Humidity sits at 31%, with a west-northwest wind at 11 miles per hour and visibility up to 10 miles.

For Friday night, skies stay mostly clear with a low around 63 degrees. Winds will remain light out of the west-northwest between 5 and 10 miles per hour, with gusts reaching up to 20 miles per hour.

Looking ahead to Saturday, sunny skies return with a high near 87 degrees. Winds will stay light through the morning before shifting southwest in the afternoon, with gusts again possible up to 20 miles per hour.

Saturday night brings mostly clear conditions with a low near 60 degrees, followed by a mild and mostly sunny Sunday with highs in the low 80s.

The warming trend continues into next week, with highs climbing back into the upper 80s by Wednesday and Thursday, while overnight lows stay mostly in the 50s.

Overall, no precipitation is expected as dry, sunny conditions continue to dominate the forecast across Yuma County.
