Savannah Guthrie returns to the TODAY Show

NEW YORK (NBC, KYMA) - Savannah Guthrie returned to the TODAY Show Monday morning on NBC.

Guthrie's return comes more than two months after her mother's mysterious disappearance from her home in Tucson, Arizona.

As the show began, she told the audience that it was "good to be home," and said, "Well, here we go, ready or not, let's do the news."

Guthrie was welcomed with open arms by her co-works and fans outside, some of whom were holding signs saying "Welcome back."

The investigation into her mother's disappearance is ongoing.

Guthrie, who has co-anchored "TODAY" since 2012, acknowledged her colleagues and fans Monday morning sayING, "I've been really feeling the love so much."
