Three dead in helicopter crash in Hawaii

KAUAI, Hawaii (CBS, KYMA) - At least three people were killed after a tour helicopter crashed on a remote beach on the Hawaiian island of Kauai Thursday.

Kauai Police Department said the helicopter crashed into the ocean near Kalalau Beach. The tour was operated by Airborne Aviation carrying one pilot and four passengers.

County of Kauai officials confirmed that two others were treated and transported to the Wilcox Medical Center, according to KITV.

Footage filmed by Kaua'iNow.com/Xiomara Yamileth showed an emergency team traveling to the crash site via a helicopter.
