This is when the earth is between the sun and moon. Earth will cast a shadow onto the moon, make it a reddish color.

There are 3 types of eclipses, and the one that will appear in our skies is a TOTAL Lunar Eclipse. This is also called the "Blood Moon," where the moon will appear a reddish color.

The Total Lunar Eclipse will begin at 4:40 A.M. MST. Tuesday morning. And the best time to see the maximum view of the Total Lunar Eclipse here in Yuma is on Tuesday, March 3rd, at 4:34 A.M MST. The shadow of the eclipse will end at 6:33 A.M. MST.
