YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - 70 local athletes competed at the AIA State Wrestling Championship, with emerging standouts, experienced coaches and multiple schools representing the Desert Southwest.

There are 13 teams left in the playoffs across the Desert Southwest, and they are all one win away from playing for a championship.

The 2026 Milan-Cortina Olympics came to a close yesterday, marking a historic performance from the United States.

Two-time WNBA Champion Kara Braxton passed away at the young age of 43 in a car accident.
