Passengers and crew survives plane crash in Somalia

(CBS, KYMA) - All passengers and crew survived after a plane crashed onto a beach shortly after departing Mogadishu's Aden Adde International Airport Tuesday, the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation Somalia (MOTCA) said.

Footage released by the MOTCA shows the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation, Mohamed Farah Nuh, visiting the crash site.

A Starsky Aviation plane can be seen sitting in shallow water with a broken wing.

According to MOTCA, the plane had experienced technical difficulties shortly after it took off. The ministry noted an investigation would be conducted to determine the cause of the crash.
