Patriots fans in Boston react to Seahawks winning the Super Bowl

BOSTON (CBS, KYMA) - The Seattle Seahawks dominated Super Bowl LX and ended a dream season for the New England Patriots Sunday night.

New England struggled all game long offensively, losing 29-13. Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker was named Super Bowl MVP.

After the first quarter, the defenses were dominating. Seattle drove for an early field goal, but after the opening frame it was 3-0 Seahawks.

Jason Myers hit two more field goals in the second quarter and the Seahawks headed into halftime with a 9-0 lead as the Patriots offense struggled.

New England gained just one first down in the third quarter, its first since the opening frame. After three quarters, Seattle is holding a 12-0 lead.

Drake Maye had fourth quarter touchdowns to Mack Hollins and Rhamondre Stevenson, but it was too late as Seattle earned the win.

After the Seahawks win, some Patriots fans in Boston shared their reaction to their team's loss.

"It's been amazing. I mean, young team...you have hope every year. This kind of turned out to be more than what we expected, so I'm really happy. I'm proud of the team. I might be a little more pessimistic tonight, but ask me again tomorrow, and you know there's there's always another season, and it's looking up for this group," said one Patriots fan.

"Pretty depressed. I mean, I'm happy at least like we made it this far...it's hour six of sitting here, so I'm kind of ready to go now," said another Patriots fan.
