CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Squirrel interrupts soccer match in the U.K.

HULL, U.K. (CBS, KYMA) - A soccer game between Hull City and Bristol City was paused as a squirrel invaded the pitch not once, but twice Saturday afternoon, according to reports.

Footage from Bret Dixon shows spectators cheering as the squirrel raced up and down the pitch at the MKM Stadium in Hull, evading capture as ground staff and player scrambled after it.

Staff members made multiple failed attempts to capture the squirrel by throwing a coat over it, but were eventually able to catch the rodent and remove it, the footage shows.

The match ended in a 3-2 win for Bristol City.
