Search underway for missing Arizona woman

GLOBE, Ariz. (CNN, KYMA) - Friends, family and even strangers came together in Globe, Arizona over the weekend with one goal in mind: To find 21-year-old Isabella Comas.

"We need to find her," said Gabe Hernandez, a volunteer.

"To just find something at least, anything, just to see where she's at," said Berenice, a friend of Comas.

They met at a Walmart, and then spread out across the area, looking for anything that may lead them to Comas.

"I'm going to take this Samurai and we'll search an area East of Globe on all the dirt trails," said Jason Chaidez, another volunteer.

Some were strangers while other were out there because they know she'd do the same for them.

"Two of these girls that are with me, their mother was swept away in the water, she drowned and she died and we went looking for her and we were lucky enough to find her car. So, we know what it's like and give back as citizens in town and community…we need to help," said Christine Duarte, another volunteer.

"Bella was such...I don't know...she was such a good spirit," said Angelina Piazza, another volunteer. "She was fun to be around we went on a trip together, it was a fun trip I really enjoyed it, really fun person to be around."

"She was a grateful person and she just like, so full of life, positive, energetic person, she loved being outdoors, all she wanted to do was be out with friends and have a good time," said Annjanette Hernandez, another volunteer.

As hours passed, little was found, but peoples' determination stayed strong.

"I know some of the buildings have already been searched, but we'll do the rest," Hernandez shared.

"Check the drains, stay safe, and check the other side the creek beds," Duarte added.

They say they're not giving up until she's found.

"Anything that could lead us to her I'd be beyond grateful, just anything at this point," Hernandez expressed.

"Just anything to give us some closure about what happened to her," Piazza added.
