Winds dwindle heading into Sunday evening

KYMA

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - After bigger gusts on late Sunday morning, winds are on a downtrend. They will be prominent heading into the evening, but there is potential for them to pick up again on Monday.

Temperatures during the day will be a carbon copy of Saturday, with the vast majority of the Desert Southwest expected to see the high 60s and potential for the Imperial County to sniff the 70s.

As for the night, the far eastern side of the region will see a dip into the mid 30s. This includes Wellton and down I-8 into Dateland. Up north, Blythe and Quartzsite will also experience the same temps

Yuma, El Centro, San Luis and Imperial will all experience lows in the 41-46°F range Sunday night.

Clouds are expected to stick around in the skies heading into the beginning of the week and may be the start of gloomy conditions for the duration of the week, as well.
