CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Timelapse shows snow squall in Omaha

OMAHA, Nebr. (CBS, KYMA) - A snow band carrying 50 mph winds moved across the Omaha area on Friday morning, threatening to reduce visibility to less than quarter mile, the National Weather Service (NWS) said.

Timelapse footage taken by Jeff Jensen shows conditions in Omaha Friday.

"Snow squall to no squall in just 5 minutes. A wintery day in Omaha," he wrote in a post on X.

"Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations," the NWS warned. "Be prepared for snow or ice covered roads. Slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination."
