Tracking warm weather that will continue through the weekend

We have been having above-normal warmth all week, and that will continue through the weekend ahead. I am tracking more clouds and slightly cooler temperatures on the way.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA-TV)- It's a nice end toward the week, with warm, but pleasant temperatures.

With the warmer afternoons, it has brought chilly, but still mild evenings. And we can expect a calm, clear, and overall great Friday night.

Overnight lows have been trending warmer than normal as well, but it has been as cold. You may still want a jacket or to add a few layers during the morning hours.

A ridge of high pressure will be dominating the region for the time being and not bringing in any significant changes. Our weather here in the Desert Southwest will remain warm and dry through the weekend.

It will be a little breezy on Saturday for Yuma and La Paz County with gusts between 20-25 MPH. It will be breezy during the morning and afternoon hours.

We will see more clouds starting Sunday and into early next week, but no rain is expected. There is a slight cooling trend early next week where highs will drop into the mid and low 70s.

I am tracking a possible weather pattern change toward the end of the week. I will keep tracking and bring more details.
