Scott Adams, ‘Dilbert’ creator, dies at 68

(CNN, KYMA) - Scott Adams, the creator of the "Dilbert" comic strip, has died, according to a post on X.
Adams announced in May of last year he had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer.
"Dilbert" became one of the most popular comic strips in the 1990s. It poked fun at the every day indignities of office work, which many readers related to.
The strip ran until 2023, when Adams made controversial comments calling Black Americans a "hate group" in response to an online poll.
After that, hundreds of newspapers stopped carrying it and Adams' distributor dropped it.
He continued publishing the comic on his website for a subscription fee.
