Tracking warmer temperatures on the way

Temperatures will continue to rise through the week, with highs climbing near or at the 80-degree mark.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA-TV)- Temperatures are warming up and today we are already warmer than yesterday with above-normal daytime highs.

A ridge of high pressure will keep our winds calm with dry and sunny conditions this week, but our temperatures will be warming up.

On our temperature outlook, this next warm-up, we will be trending well above-average for the next 6-10 days.

Tracking plenty of sunshine with warm afternoons and cold overnights. Our daytime highs will be near or at the 80-degree mark later this week.

Heading into next we won't have really any changes just some additional clouds, but still staying dry.
