Tracking a warming trend this week

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA-TV)- Happy Monday! It’s been a breezy and windy weekend, and we are still feeling a little breezy today.

Winds will continue to decrease through the night, but the highest gust could still reach 20-25 MPH. We will have much lighter winds for the rest of the week.

Temperatures are going to be pretty cold with overnight lows in the low and upper 40s. Make sure to bundle up and stay warm.

A ridge of high pressure will build this week in the Desert Southwest, bringing calm and dry weather, but it will come with warmer-than-normal temperatures.

With this next warm-up, we will be trending well above-average for the next 6-10 days.

Daytime highs will be warming to the upper 70s and even 80s toward the end of the week.

Even though it is going to be warm, it will still be a nice and pleasant week.
