Kofa boys soccer tops Cesar Chavez to stay strong in season

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Kofa Kings continued their strong start to the season Wednesday night, defeating Cesar Chavez 4–0 at home.

With an overall record of 8-1-2 and ranked sixth in Arizona, Kofa showed why they’re considered one of the top teams in the state. The Kings controlled possession early, created multiple scoring opportunities, and put the game out of reach with a commanding performance.

Kofa’s defense was equally impressive, holding Cesar Chavez scoreless and keeping the team in full control throughout the match. The clean sheet highlighted the squad’s balanced play on both ends of the field.

With the win, Kofa improves to 8-1-2 overall and 2-0 in the region, remaining atop the standings. The Kings now look ahead to their next matchup as they aim to continue their strong season.
