Tracking drier conditions for the first weekend of 2026

Clouds will be sticking around, but we will have drier conditions for the first weekend of 2026 with nice daytime temperatures. Tracking chance for more showers next week.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA-TV)- Happy Friday! It's a calm and drier end to the work week.

Going into the rest of the evening and into tomorrow morning, we will have clouds sticking around with colder temperatures.

This weekend we will see partly to mostly cloudy skies, but it will be dry with no rain expected.

Rain chances are expected to return by next Tuesday and Wednesday. It's still uncertain with how much rain is expected, but I will keep tracking and bring more updates as we get closer.

We will have cloudy skies with nice afternoon temperatures for the weekend. Tracking possible showers next week.

Don't forget the first full moon of 2026 (The Wolf Moon) will appear in our skies this Saturday around 3:02 a.m. MST.
