One dead, one injured in helicopter crash in New Jersey
HAMMONTON, N.J. (NBC, KYMA) - At least one person is dead and another is critically injured after two helicopters collided and crashed in Hammonton, New Jersey Sunday morning.
The crash happened just before 11:30 a.m. Eastern near Hammonton Municipal Airport.
One of the helicopters was reportedly engulfed in flames after the crash, but fire crews eventually put out the fire.
The FAA says the crash involved an Enstrom F-28A helicopter and an Enstrom 280C helicopter. Only the pilots were on board each aircraft, and their identities have not been released.
The NTSB is leading the investigation into the crash.
