NORAD prepares to track Santa Claus
(NBC, KYMA) - Santa Claus is getting ready for the all-nighter that lasts through every time zone, Christmas Eve, and NORAD is preparing to track him.
If you ever had any doubt that he can do it all in one night, remember, global time zones mean that Christmas Eve lasts way longer than we think.
Chief Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell says the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) will once again track Santa Claus on radar as he makes his journey around the globe.
The NORAD Santa Tracker will go live on war.gov Wednesday, and Parnell says they are excited to continue this tradition with the American people.
If your kids are at that age where they may doubt if this is for real, they can look online or even call 877-446-6723 to talk directly to a Santa Tracker, who will be able to tell callers his current location starting Christmas Eve at 4:00 a.m. Mountain Standard Time through midnight.
