Tracking warmer-than-usual temperatures again this week

A ridge of high pressure will keep our temperatures well above average with dry and sunny weather this week.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA-TV)- The holiday countdown continues! It's almost winter, and we are weeks away from Christmas, and we are getting closer to starting a new year.

Happy Monday! Unseasonably warm temperatures continue again to start off a new week as highs are trending in the 80s. Take a look at our afternoon highs this afternoon.

Temperatures will cool down during the evening, leading to overnight lows in the low 50s. Skies will also remain clear with light winds.

Make sure to also enjoy a cupcake tonight because today is National Cupcake Day!

A ridge of high pressure isn't going anywhere just yet. This will keep our weather dry and warmer than normal all week long.

It will be a warm and sunny week as highs will be staying in the 80s and lows in the low 50s.
