Google reveals top trending searches for 2025
(CNN, KYMA) - Google has revealed its most trending searches for 2025.
Topping the list, conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who was assassinated while speaking at Utah Valley University in September.
Also on the list, the Netflix smash hit "KPop Demon Hunters" and Pop Mart's Labubu dolls.
Other trending topics on Google this year included Apple's iPhone 17, New York City Mayor-Elect Zohran Mamdani, tariffs, the government shutdown, and President Donald Trump's "One Big Beautiful Act."
The list also included Charlie Kirk's widow, Erika, Deepseek, Ozzy Osbourne, Pope Leo XIV, Diane Keaton, No Kings Protest and Jimmy Kimmel.
