Town in southeastern Michigan blanketed by snow

MACOMB TOWNSHIP, Mich. (CBS, KYMA) - A southeastern Michigan town was blanketed by snow on Saturday after the first snowstorm of the season hit the area.

Footage filmed and posted to X by user @ibraheem_martin shows a snow-covered neighborhood in Macomb Township, Michigan.

"Well, it looks like a snow globe here, in Macomb Township, where within the last two hours we had very high snowfall rates," @ibraheem_martin could be heard saying.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS), the snowstorm dumped 3.5 inches of snow in Macomb as of Sunday.
