Las Vegas hotel swamped by flooding ahead of F1 Grand Prix

LAS VEGAS (CBS, KYMA) - Heavy rounds of rain brought flash flooding to Las Vegas on Tuesday, days before the Formula One (F1) Grand Prix was set to take place.

F1 drivers expressed their concerns ahead of the race due to the weather.

Footage posted to Instagram, and sent to Storyful, by @foxyfeline99 shows floodwater rushing down the parking lot of the The Linq Hotel and Casino.

The National Weather Service issued a flood warning for the area on Tuesday. The downpour and flooding came as a storm system gripped the Southwestern U.S.
