Petrified dog rescued from busy tunnel in Boston

BOSTON (CBS, KYMA) - A dog narrowly missed being hit by traffic in a busy Boston tunnel before state police rescued the canine on November 6.

Surveillance video from the Massachusetts Department of Transportation shows the black-and-white pooch heading toward oncoming vehicles in the Ted Williams Tunnel.

A later clip shows state police vehicles parked in the tunnel, with one trooper beckoning the dog, which runs away from the officer but then hops into the back seat of a cruiser.
