Palo Verde advances to CIF-SDS Division V-AA Championship, Gila Ridge wins first home playoff game in program history, Central dominates Bishop's

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - NBC's Friday Night Lights aired their 14th show during the 13th week of the high school football season.

The Palo Verde Yellow Jackets rolled past the Mountain Empire Redhawks 46-8 and will head to Escondido for the Championship next Saturday at 7:00 p.m.

The Gila Ridge Hawks cruised past the Estrella Foothills Wolves 42-14 and will host another home playoff game next week against the Coconino Panthers.

The Central Spartans would find similar success, shutting down Bishop's Knights in the second half en route to a 35-14 win.
