Erika Kirk provides Turning Point USA staff with look at Presidential Medal of Freedom

PHOENIX (CBS, KYMA) - Erika Kirk provided Turning Point USA staff with a look at the Presidential Medal of Freedom posthumously awarded to her late husband, conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

Footage captured by Turning Point USA Chief of Staff Mikey McCoy shows Kirk giving staffers a look at the award.

In the video, Kirk can be heard telling staff she wanted them all to have the opportunity to view the medal.

"I literally will stand here so all of you guys can see, I don't care," she said. "Everyone can have their moment and see."

The ceremony to present Kirk with her husband's medal was held on Tuesday, October 14, which would have been Kirk's 32nd birthday.
