IVL Volleyball standings shaken up after Tuesday night

As the volleyball season nears a close and the teams in the IVL start playing one another, the standings are changing

BRAWLEY, Calif. (KYMA) - After the Brawley Wildcats downed the Imperial Tigers 3-1 and the Central Spartans beat the Southwest Eagles in a back-and-forth match, the Imperial Valley League Standings have changed.

Imperial was originally in first, but Central and Brawley leap frogged them with their wins. Because the Spartans have both head-to-head victories over the Wildcats, they possess the top spot.

The standings are as follows:

In the Brawley-Imperial duel, the Wildcats jumped out to a hot start, thumping the Tigers in the first set 25-6.

The Tigers did pick it up but still lost the second set 25-17. They would ultimately fall in four sets after managing to win the third set.
