Animal Control officer rescues tiny squirrel at mini golf course in Colorado

DENVER (CBS, KYMA) - A tiny squirrel was rescued at a miniature golf set in Denver, Colorado, after taking a tumble, the Jefferson County Sheriff Office (JCSO) said.

JCSO said that the squirrel was rescued, but its mom was not found. It was brought to a wildlife rescue service in Colorado.

"Loud squeaks, but a bright future," JCSO wrote in a post on X.

Bodycam footage posted to X shows an officer taking the squeaking squirrel in her hands and checking for injuries.
