Moderate weather roles into the Desert Southwest

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - Rain clouds have moved out of Yuma County and the Imperial Valley, and the sun is shining again.

Temperatures peaked in the mid-90s across most of the Desert Southwest Sunday and will gradually decrease into the 70s as we reach late-night hours.

Humidity is still overtaking the weather and raising the "real feel" several degrees. Over the course of the next 48 hours, dew points are expected to get up to 68 °F around noon on Monday.

By Sunday night, we will see similar conditions, as well.

Wind gusts are not a concern for the rest of the weekend and beginning of the work week, and for the most part, weather is looking normal for the late September window we are in.
