FIRST ALERT ACTION DAY: Rainy conditions strike the Desert Southwest once again

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - Late Saturday morning brought a quick, but intense, cluster of rain. Early Saturday evening will bring more rain to Yuma County.

The City of Yuma should steer clear of heavy rainfall, while the rest of the county will see the brunt of precipitation.

Ocotillo will also see some noteworthy rainfall in the same time span, but the rest of the Imperial Valley will see no more than light drizzling.

As it usually goes, the rainy weather is also bringing humidity. Expect the humid conditions to last throughout the weekend and into the beginning of the work week.

Temperatures will sit in the low-to-mid 90s this weekend, more moderate for this time of the year.

Overcast conditions will carry into Sunday in Yuma County. In the Imperial Valley, clear skies are on the horizon as we roll into Sunday.
