Caltrans releases drone footage of mudslide in California

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (NBC, KYMA) - Drone footage from a massive mudslide in California has been released.

The mudslide, which was created from the combination of Tropical Storm Mario, heavy rainfall, and the El Dorado burn scar, took out large parts of SR-38 in San Bernardino.

Footage captured shows chunks of the road being completely wiped away. Parts of the surrounding area also don't exist anymore.

Dozens of cars were stranded for hours from the slide, but thankfully, there were no injuries reported.
