Yuma Catholic volleyball stays perfect, sweeps Phoenix Christian

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - The Yuma Catholic Shamrocks kept their undefeated run going Monday night, cruising past Phoenix Christian in straight sets, 3-0.

The victory marks the Shamrocks' 14th consecutive win to start the season, building on last year's success and reinforcing their reputation as one of the top programs in the state.

It was also a familiar result: Yuma Catholic beat the Cougars in their last meeting back in September 2024.

With the win, the Shamrocks improve to 11-0, while Phoenix Christian drops to 2-6 on the year.

Yuma Catholic is right back in action Tuesday evening, traveling to San Pasqual Valley for a matchup against the Warriors, who enter on a four-game skid.
