Semi-truck and light rail train involved in fiery crash in Arizona

PHOENIX (NBC, KYMA) - A fiery crash involving a semi-truck and light rail train happened Sunday night in Phoenix, injuring one person.

The crash happened at around 7:15 p.m. in the area of 18th and Washington Streets.

Security footage captured the crash where the train went right through the semi-truck, which was trying to cross over the tracks.

The train quickly came to a complete stop as flames burst out. Despite the quick stop, no one on the train was injured in the crash.

The driver of the truck was taken to the hospital, but also avoided life-threatening injuries.
