Temperatures staying below average through the weekend

Beautiful weather will continue through the weekend, with plenty of sunshine, dry conditions, and temperatures in the upper 90s. Tracking warmer weather early next week.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - Happy Friday! It's another great day with comfortable weather. Heading into the evening, we are in for light winds, clear skies, and warm, but cool temperatures. Great football weather for high school games Friday night.

By the morning, we will have overnight lows in the low 70s and upper 60s. Nice temperatures for any early Saturday morning plans.

A lower-pressure system will continue to hover over the western part of the country before slowly shifting east through the weekend. This will allow us to have cooler-than-normal temperatures through the weekend.

Plenty of sunshine is in the forecast through the weekend with highs in the upper 90s. Triple digits will return by Monday.

HEADS UP! I am tracking more clouds and possible rain chances toward the end of next week. I will continue to track and bring more details as we get closer. Stay tuned!
