At least three students shot at a Colorado high school

EVERGREEN, Colo (NBC, KYMA) - At least three students were shot Wednesday afternoon at Evergreen High School in Colorado.

Details are limited at this time but those students are now at the hospital.

The shooting was first reported at around 12:30 p.m. Mountain and happened on school grounds. However, it's unclear if the shooting took place inside the building.

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said the shooter or shooters have not been located at this time.

Evergreen High School is on lockdown and in the process of being cleared, and the school district is asking people to stay away from the scene.
