CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Dozens of bikers take over expressway in Boston

BOSTON (CBS, KYMA/KECY) - Dozens of cyclists swarmed an expressway in Boston footage filmed August 16 shows.

Video recorded by Sandy Poirier captures the moment a huge crowd of young bikers took over part of the Boston Expressway Saturday.

According to news reports, one person was arrested in connection with the incident and appeared in court on Monday.

Massachusetts State Troopers said there were about 100 people riding on the highway and pulling stunts over the course of several hours, according to the news report.

Police said one of the dirt bikes collided with a cruiser, according to NBC Boston. The person riding the bike allegedly ran away, and police said they later learned the bike had been stolen.

Troopers also arrested 22-year-old Adam Harrison of Winthrop, who was allegedly riding a dirt bike.
